The small town of only 20,000 people is visited by hundreds of thousands every year thanks to its world-famous medicinal water. Montecatini Terme already boasted baths in the 16th century, the first and most famous Tettuccio Terme was built on the town's main street. The Regina, Excelsior and Leopoldine thermal baths are also popular. The town's medicinal water is rich in various minerals and has a good effect on both the body and the skin.
Of course, Montecatini Terme offers more than just bathing. Walking along the main street of the city, you can find many shops and boutiques. If you don't want to spend so much, then definitely visit the neighboring small town, you can get to Montecatini Alto by cog wheel.
