Lake Bled is located in the northwestern part of Slovenia, in the embrace of the Alps, and is one of the country's most charming natural treasures. A picturesque chapel stands out on Bled Island in the middle of the lake, which can be reached by traditional rowing boats. From the height of the old town of Bled Castle on the shore of the lake, you can enjoy an unparalleled view of the surrounding mountains and the turquoise waters of the lake. The walking trails and bike paths around the lake offer excellent opportunities for nature lovers and those looking for an active vacation. The area around Lake Bled not only offers beautiful scenery and fresh air, but also charms visitors with culinary delights that can be tasted in local restaurants.

Hotel Starkl
Hotel Starkl is a small hostel with a family atmosphere right on the shore of Lake Bled. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, its own restaurant and bar with a terrace. All rooms include a plasma TV and telephone. The private bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a hairdryer. The hotel's own restaurant offers both unique Slovenian specialties and international dishes. Guests can rent a boat directly in front of the hotel to see the wishing bell on the island. Fishing and horse riding are available in the area, and the city center is also easily accessible with a short walk.
